Hello! This week I am preparing to install my solo show at Kearny Street Workshop in San Francisco. Kearny Street Workshop is the nation's oldest multi-disciplinary arts organiztion that supports Asian American artists. That is very amazing! My show includes drawings and screen prints, about the world, time and what is coming next.
Also, mark your calendars for SF Art's Commission PASSPORT event! I am pleased to be one of this year's participating artists. The event takes place in North Beach on October 14th. Details can be found here.

I am thrilled to exhibit a new series of screen prints with the San Francisco Arts Commission at City Hall. The show, Stretch & Expose, features Bay Area artists who utilize screen printing in non-commerical ways. The new artworks that I will be showing explore anecdotes of Asian-American culture in San Francisco.
Please join me at the opening reception!

The AIGA Link Program connects Seattle area high school students with creative professionals through nine monthly workshops. In March, I was able to fly to Seattle and guest teach a bookmaking workshop using out-of-date encylopedias as materials. Not only were the students excited about the project, but the work they produced was brilliant, compelling and entirely inspiriational. Here are some of the photos.
This student was interested in fashion-design, and used the encyclopedias to physically illustrate a dress pattern.
