Chelsea Ryoko Wong is a painter and muralist based in San Francisco. Her work captures world culture and contemporary life—exploring everything from travel to tai chi, politics and performance art. Drawing inspiration from the urban landscape, Wong creates vibrant and colorful scenes often busy with people. Conveying a sense of happines and joy, Wong's paintings encourage the viewer to stay positive, happy, and open-minded to the world at large.

Wong began her studies at Parsons School of Design (New York, NY), and finished at California College of the Arts with a B.A. in Printmaking in 2010. She is the first recipient of the Hamaguchi Emerging Artists Fellowship award at Kala in Berkeley, CA (2010) and has recently completed a mural for the FB AIR Program in San Francisco, CA (2019). She has exhibited across the United States, Europe and Asia.
